چکیده
ABSTRACT We present the first public code for calculation of astrometric centroid shift occurring during microlensing events. The computation is based on contour integration scheme and covers single binary lensing finite sources with arbitrary limb darkening profiles. This allows general detailed investigations impact source size in microlensing. new embedded version 3.0 vbbinarylensing, which offers a powerful computational tool extensive studies data from current surveys future space missions.

Astrometric Microlensing of Stars
Due to dramatic improvements in the precision of astrometric measurements, the observation of light centroid shifts in observed stars due to intervening massive compact objects (‘astrometric microlensing’) will become possible in the near future. Upcoming space missions, such as SIM and GAIA, will provide measurements with an accuracy of 4–60 μas depending on the magnitude of the observed stars...
متن کاملAstrometric Microlensing with the GAIA satellite
GAIA is the “super-Hipparcos” survey satellite selected as a Cornerstone 6 mission by the European Space Agency. GAIA can measure microlensing by the brightening of source stars. For the broad G band photometer, the all-sky source-averaged photometric optical depth is ∼ 10−7. There are ∼ 1300 photometric microlensing events for which GAIA will measure at least one datapoint on the amplified lig...
متن کاملExtended Source Effects in Astrometric Gravitational Microlensing
Extended source size effects have been detected in photometric monitoring of gravitational microlensing events. We study similar effects in the centroid motion of an extended source lensed by a point mass. We show that the centroid motion of a source with uniform surface brightness can be obtained analytically. For a source with circularly symmetric limb-darkening profile, the centroid motion c...
متن کاملAstrometric Microlensing Constraints on a Massive Body in the Outer Solar System with the Global Astrometric Interferometer for Astrophysics (GAIA)
A body in Solar orbit beyond the Kuiper belt exhibits an annual parallax that exceeds its apparent proper motion by up to many orders of magnitude. Apparent motion of this body along the parallactic ellipse will deflect the angular position of background stars due to astrometric microlensing (“induced parallax”). By synoptically sampling the astrometric position of background stars over the ent...
متن کاملAstrometric Shifts in the OGLE-1 Microlensing Events
We measure the astrometric shifts of the light centroids for the microlensing events in the OGLE-1 database. Of the 15 consistently detected events, 7 had significant shifts which we were able to measure with a fair degree of confidence. Those events with large shifts are also expected to be unresolved with a background “blend”, and thus, we suggest that we have identified events in the OGLE-1 ...
